THE THREE CAGES

A visual exploration of the invisible barriers that imprison us.

"The Three Cages" invites us to a deep introspection on the invisible prisons we face every day, physical, mental and spiritual. Each work is a portal to a different dimension of our being, stimulating intense emotions and reflections on how we can free ourselves from these cages that limit us.

1. The Body Cage

This work captures the essence of physical confinement, expressed by a wooden mannequin trapped behind a metal grid. The scene suggests a struggle against the limits imposed by the body, evoking a powerful sense of constriction and imprisonment.

2. The Mind Cage

A metal grid covers a reflective surface, shattered and reassembled. The image behind the grid can vary, creating unique and personal reflections. This complex piece explores the depths of the mind, revealing how distorted thoughts and psychological barriers can create a fragmented and isolating reality.

3. The Soul Cage

In this latest work, a metal grid divides a representation of the Madonna and Child, creating the illusion of a sacred scene observed through a barrier. The combination of sacred elements and the presence of the grid conveys a profound sense of vulnerability, reflecting the spiritual prisons that can enclose the soul.
